I worked as a musical director with Sing for Joy a choir set up for people with Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological conditions, The first Choir was formed in 2001- meeting weekly in Kentish Town Health Centre. The second Choir, 4 years later, meeting in The Chapel in The National Hospital for Neurology in Queens Square, London. There is a short film at the bottom of this blog. xxx We performed, with both Choirs, many times, and I was privileged to be able to ask my friends in Music /Theatre/Comedy/ Dance to perform with us in order to raise money to keep the Choirs alive.

Below. The second Choir, Sing For Joy – Bloomsbury Choir in 2009 at The Neurological Hospital Queen Square, Bloomsbury London
St Pancras Station. We did several performances there. I love everything to do with trains, stations, and singing with lovely people. Lucky me.

The Choirs also performed in some wonderful spaces, including one of my favourite Cathedrals, Southwark. London. Westminster Hall. Below. The TUC Hall and many other buildings. Sometimes with both Choirs performing together, and also in their separate groups.
